Walk Scotland delivers year round walking activities suitable for all abilities and ages, young and old, from half day low level strolls, through to your first Munro and multi-day expeditions, summer and winter.
Group sizes -Low level walks cater for groups of up to 16 people, and high level walks for groups of up to 8 people. Larger groups can be accommodated, with additional support.

Walk Scotland operates all over Scotland from a base in Highland Perthshire.
Here are some suggestions for Highland Perthshire Walks.
  • A first Munro – Schiehallion (1,083m; 3,538ft) the fairy mountain - learn how the mountain was used to calculate the mass of the earth.
  • Summit a family friendly mountain – Ben Vrackie, the 841 metre (2,740ft) mountain directly behind Pitlochry, offering a great day out.
  • Longer mountain walks for the more energetic – recommended favourites include Beinn a'Ghlo, Ben Lawers and Meall nan Tarmachan.
  • Explore picturesque Glen Tilt - a low level river and woodland circuit.
  • Black wood of Rannoch – ancient Caledonian Pine Forest full of interesting flora and fauna.
  • Rannoch Moor and “The Road to the Isles” – take the train from Rannoch station to the remote Corrour Halt and return on foot along part of the footpath known as “the road to the isles”.
  • Pitlochry Town Walk – incorporating visits to local attractions as desired.
  • Hill Skills – Learn to navigate using a map and compass. courses for beginners, intermediates and at advanced levels. 
  • Hill Skills Winter – Get to grips with snow using ice axe and crampons.

Walk Scotland offers general and specialist interest walks.  All walks will include information about the flora, fauna, geology and history.

Example of specialist walks - Caledonian pine forest habitat; the upland montane environment; geology and landforms; wild flower and fungi identification; and evening bat walks.
